Anyone know of a site like this?

So we were watching “Sunshine” last night. Perhaps you’ve seen it. Anyway, it was recommended by a friend. It was OK. But I knew we weren’t in for anything too fantastic when pretty much the opening shot was a ripoff of “Alien.”

The last couple movies I’ve seen have me thinking about a site that would compare the performances of different actors in the same or similar kinds of roles. For example: The cocky, overachieving student who needs to be taken down a couple notches by the no-nonsense professor/teacher. The renegade detective. The out-of-touch father. The hooker with a heart of gold. The stuck-up cheerleader. The disadvantaged inner city youth with only one chance to make it out of the hood. You know the parts. I think it would be cool to have a site where you could go to rate the different performances in these roles over the years. Not only could you comment on the quality of the acting, but you could give your opinion on how well written the part was. If you’ve spent any amount of time online, you know that people love movies. And they love giving their opinions. Maybe most of all, they love giving their opinions about movies.

There has to be a site like this out there, but I haven’t found it. If you know of something, holla.
