Bless your heart.  She&#8217;s taken time from her busy schedule to propound on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2007\/LIVING\/personal\/08\/23\/o.men.eat\/index.html\">11 things a man should eat every day to stay healthy<\/a>.  They are:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Fruits and vegetables<\/li>\n<li>Fiber<\/li>\n<li>Foods rich in folate (spinach, for example)<\/li>\n<li>Tomatoes<\/li>\n<li>Walnuts and almonds<\/li>\n<li>Aspirin (low dose)<\/li>\n<li>Fish (tilapia, salmon, flounder, cod and mahi-mahi)<\/li>\n<li>64 ounces of fluid<\/li>\n<li>Red wine (preach, sister!  Can I get an &#8216;amen?&#8217;)<\/li>\n<li>Coffee (24 oz. daily, sorry, Kevin)<\/li>\n<li>Milk (for the Vitamin D)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>I like to try to imagine a reasonable meal that contains as many of these items as possible.  You could nail a lot of them with a spinach salad topped with walnuts, fruit, and flaked grilled salmon, followed by whole wheat pasta with red sauce, a glass of chianti, a glass of water, and a nice cup of decaf with dessert.  <\/p>\n<p>I was just looking again at the menu for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.peppersprout.com\/main2.htm\">Pepper Sprout<\/a>, where Leah and I will have dinner on Saturday night.  There are some nice things on there that meet a couple of the points above, but is there any realistic expectation that I&#8217;ll be able to avoid getting the curried mussels?
