{"id":904,"date":"2007-06-17T21:22:59","date_gmt":"2007-06-18T03:22:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nicheplayer.net\/wordpress\/?p=904"},"modified":"2007-06-17T21:22:59","modified_gmt":"2007-06-18T03:22:59","slug":"were-in","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nicheplayer.net\/avablog\/2007\/06\/17\/were-in\/","title":{"rendered":"We&#8217;re in"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What a weekend!\u00c2\u00a0 There are still some boxes sitting around here and there, and there&#8217;s certainly some stuff that needs to be put away, but we&#8217;re in now.<\/p>\n<p>I had a nice Father&#8217;s Day.\u00c2\u00a0 Ava gave me two beautiful ceramic tiles that have her hand prints on them.\u00c2\u00a0 Leah gave me a gorgeous framed print of a picture I took three years ago (or so).<\/p>\n<p>The highlight of the day, though, was ice cream with Ava after dinner.\u00c2\u00a0 She got her sugar cone with rainbow sherbet, and we moved outside to sit on the curb in the parking lot.\u00c2\u00a0 Ava was licking away, fighting the constant drips running over her hands.\u00c2\u00a0 At one point, she sidled up to me and put her little hand on my thigh.\u00c2\u00a0 She just left it there and looked out at the traffic going by.\u00c2\u00a0 It was sublime.\u00c2\u00a0 It&#8217;s pretty amazing to be a dad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a weekend!\u00c2\u00a0 There are still some boxes sitting around here and there, and there&#8217;s certainly some stuff that needs to be put away, but we&#8217;re in now.
