Nothing big.\u00c2\u00a0 I just noticed today that this blog has been running now since January 2005.\u00c2\u00a0 Four hundred and four posts, 394 comments.\u00c2\u00a0 It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long.<\/p>\n

I upgraded to the latest version of WordPress today, and so far, so good.\u00c2\u00a0 As always, there were a couple hitches with the process, but it got done.\u00c2\u00a0 Good excuse to do a backup, anyway.<\/p>\n

I’ve now effectively shut off access to what used to be my install of Gallery2 here on nicheplayer.net.\u00c2\u00a0 The siren call of flickr simply became too strong.\u00c2\u00a0 So don’t be surprised if you try to get to the gallery here and end up here<\/a> instead.<\/p>\n

There’s a big MacWorld conference this week.\u00c2\u00a0 As always, rumors abound.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m tempted to sit this one out, but I’m sure I’ll end up taking a peek at live coverage sometime during the day.\u00c2\u00a0 The keynote is on the same day we’re having an inspector come and look at the house in preparation for negotiating a sale with our neighbor.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s going to be a big week.\u00c2\u00a0 By Wednesday we’ll likely know if we’re staying here for a while or moving in the spring.<\/p>\n
