{"id":686,"date":"2007-01-05T23:58:59","date_gmt":"2007-01-06T05:58:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nicheplayer.net\/wordpress\/?p=686"},"modified":"2007-01-05T23:58:59","modified_gmt":"2007-01-06T05:58:59","slug":"bookish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nicheplayer.net\/avablog\/2007\/01\/05\/bookish\/","title":{"rendered":"Bookish"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was reading some stories with Ava tonight before bed.\u00c2\u00a0 We were both lying on her bed next to each other like spoons in a drawer, each of us with our own <a title=\"Mr Men\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mrsneeze.com\/mrmen\/index.html\">Mr Men<\/a> book.\u00c2\u00a0 I read Mr Tickle aloud while Ava paged through Mr Clumsy.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->After a bit I noticed Ava putting her index finger in her mouth occasionally.\u00c2\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t think much of it at first, but then I turned to her and observed her wetting her finger so she could turn the pages in her book.\u00c2\u00a0 She didn&#8217;t notice me watching her, she just kept licking and turning and licking and turning.\u00c2\u00a0 Very busy.<\/p>\n<p>Easily one of the most adorable things she&#8217;s ever done.\u00c2\u00a0 Hard to imagine she was vomiting in that very spot only hours before (she seems fine now).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After a bit I noticed Ava putting her index finger in her mouth occasionally.
