When I bump into people in the halls at work these days, they always ask if Ava is getting excited about Christmas.\u00c2\u00a0 I reply that she is.<\/p>\n
It’s cool that this is really the first year that she’s starting to “get” Christmas.\u00c2\u00a0 She’s been singing “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer” the last couple weeks.\u00c2\u00a0 In fact, she broke into song this morning in the middle of her oatmeal.\u00c2\u00a0 Leah and I have been explaining the whole gift giving thing to her, and the other day Ava decided that she wanted to get presents for Rudolph and Santa.\u00c2\u00a0 When asked what she had in mind, she said we should get a squirrel for Rudolph and a puppy (a Beagle puppy) for Santa.<\/p>\n
