I like radishes.\u00c2\u00a0 Don’t love ’em.\u00c2\u00a0 But there’s something refreshing about them, particularly sliced super thin on top of a salad of mixed greens.<\/p>\n
The CSA we belong to is producing lots <\/em>of radishes right now, and I’m at a bit of a loss as to what to do with them.\u00c2\u00a0 Salads, yes, but after that…?<\/p>\n I bit into one the other day, and it was hotter than a mofo.\u00c2\u00a0 There’s that word again.\u00c2\u00a0 But it was delicious.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m keeping an eye on my tomato and pepper plants out in the garden, and it looks like it won’t be too long now before I start seeing some produce.\u00c2\u00a0 I can’t wait to get Ava back there to help me pick it.\u00c2\u00a0 The other day I found what I suspect is a volunteer cherry tomato plant growing in the flower bed at the back of the house.\u00c2\u00a0 I threw a little fence around it to keep the “Peter rabbits” away and will see how it does.\u00c2\u00a0 Couldn’t hurt to have more tomatoes around.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I like radishes.\u00c2\u00a0 Don’t love ’em.\u00c2\u00a0 But there’s something refreshing about them, particularly sliced super thin on top of a salad of mixed greens.
