I lucked out last night and caught Prince&#8217;s first performance on SNL.  That guy is amazing.  I didn&#8217;t recognize the song, so I assume it&#8217;s off the upcoming <a title=\"3121\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B000E97HIA\/qid=1139157503\/sr=11-1\/ref=sr_11_1\/002-5613969-4168001?n=5174\">3121<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t remember ever seeing a live performance like that on SNL.  For anyone who doubts the guy&#8217;s musicianship (and I don&#8217;t think there are too many of those people out there), you only had to check out his blazing electric guitar work.  I also loved the way he had his backup singers out in front of him on the stage (if everyone had backup singers like these three, they&#8217;d have them front and center too).<br \/>\nI can&#8217;t wait to get my hands on this album.  Amazon tells me I have to wait until 03-21-06.  Wish I could have it for our trip to CO.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wow.
