I was reminded today that there haven’t been any posts to this blog in five days. And I was like, “Really?” But I see it’s true. Why would MySQL lie?

\nWe’re still here, of course. Ava’s having what I would categorize as a very<\/em> difficult time dealing with the fact that she’s not the only game in town anymore. If there’s a limit, she pushes it. Luckily for Leah and me, Emmett’s arrival and need or his own attention has made Leah slightly more willing to accept the fact that it’s OK if Ava’s told “no” now and again; I’ve been waiting for 5 long years to bring my iron hand to bear, and that time has drawn nigh.<\/p>\n

It’s not that things have been all bad. Heck no. Just that the bad times are more intense. Which, I guess, makes the good times that much sweeter. Like this:<\/p>\n

I shouldn’t complain, really. Life is good, if a bit crazy. And after all, someone always has it worse than you do:<\/p>\n
