This has been a tough couple weeks for our little girl.  It&#8217;s wonderful to watch you with your new little brother, how you kiss his brow and pat his head.  We can&#8217;t wait to watch you two grow up together.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nYour mom and I are worried that you&#8217;re losing your sense of place now that Emmett is here.  We&#8217;ve made a concerted effort to make sure you feel like a part of Em&#8217;s arrival, but we understand it must look to you like it&#8217;s all about the new kid right now.<\/p>\n<p>I want you to tell you that, somehow, you&#8217;re even more amazing to me now than before Emmett was born.  You&#8217;re more beautiful.  Smarter.  Funnier.  More gentle.  I sat across the table from you last night on our dinner date and just marveled at your big brown eyes.  While your mom and I would&#8217;ve been thrilled with any healthy baby born to us, we were extra relieved (amidst our surprise) that we&#8217;d had a boy.
