In fact, I think it was this morning.  I told her I&#8217;d grab my camera and take the picture right there in the bathroom as she did her makeup, but it wasn&#8217;t what she had in mind.  We haven&#8217;t been taking weekly pregnancy photos so far, but it seems like I should be building up a set of shots for posterity&#8217;s sake (I understand the second child never gets as much attention as the first&#8230;you should see Rachel&#8217;s sad, barely-filled-out baby book).  Fact is, I really <em>like <\/em>taking pictures of Leah, pregnant or not.  But she almost always finds fault with anything I shoot.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/maternity\/2908872877\/\">Lord knows there are enough pregnancy poses out there<\/a>.  Some, as you might guess, are more pleasing than others.  As I don&#8217;t have any fancy lighting kits to turn night to day at the house, and since I so love a nice, diffuse natural light, I&#8217;m thinking I&#8217;ll go for something involving our upstairs bedroom (no, not <em>THAT <\/em>kind of picture, Nathan).  It has a nice southern exposure that lets in lots of light, and with all this snow on the ground, the rays will be bouncing around like crazy.  I&#8217;ve shot there before, but not as often as I&#8217;d like.  Ava always wants to jump on the bed when she&#8217;s up there, though sometimes I can calm her down long enough for a quick one:<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3053\/2913239398_8d6605930e.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3053\/2913239398_8d6605930e_m.jpg\" alt=\"smile\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll just have to see what Leah&#8217;s game for.  Photography is such a nothing-ventured-nothing-gained pursuit.
