Ava had a Thanksgiving feast at her preschool today. She was allowed one special guest. When asked which of her friends and family she’d like to have along, she picked her Gramary. And so it was.

\nAs usual, Gramary found a way to kick the fun up a notch. While making her rounds in town this morning, she came across a “stuffed turkey” in the window of a local and fairly notorious drinking establishment. “That,” she thought, “would make a great companion for Ava and me at the preschool feast today.” Enough words. Toodles the turkey:<\/p>\n

Toodles was a big hit. He ended up taking pictures with a couple of the kids at the feast. And when my mom took him back to the bar after the feast, Toodles’ owner was so thrilled with how much the kids loved him, she let my mom keep the ol’ boy.
