Seriously.  That&#8217;s crazy.  The threat of 45-mph winds and extreme cold (I even heard the word &#8220;blizzard&#8221; within the first hour of being at work) have already intimidated the local schools into closing two hours early.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Our car&#8217;s at the shop getting a new windshield today.  That puppy cracked almost all the way across while Leah sat at an intersection the other evening.  No obvious cause.  Leah and glass just don&#8217;t mix.  I think we now have something like three wine glasses left to our respective names out of an original total of about 12.  And Leah doesn&#8217;t even drink wine!  I&#8217;m going to start drinking out of a plastic cup.  Let&#8217;s face it, the $5\/bottle stuff I imbibe insults even the humblest glassware, anyway, so it&#8217;s time I got off my high horse.<\/p>\n<p>ION, Ava cried for 30 minutes straight this morning because we wouldn&#8217;t let her have a piece of gum (she discovered it while digging through Leah&#8217;s purse and recognized it from our plane trip earlier in the month).  <strong>Thirty f&#8217;in minutes<\/strong>.  I love my daughter, but <em>damn<\/em>.  She pretty much recovered by the time we got to daycare.  The problem is (we think) that she&#8217;s been waking up at 5:30 sharp every morning since she spent the night at Gramary&#8217;s.
