I watched Hillary’s speech at the DNC last night on NBC. She looked pretty good in HD. I hope her words were enough to convince her supporters that this election is not about Hillary or Barack but about the country. We’ll see in November, I guess.

After the NBC coverage, I was flipping down through the channels and came across Katie Couric wrapping up her convention coverage on CBS. At first I thought I’d stumbled upon some sort of parody of a news show. Could a national news anchor on a “major” network really be wearing that much mascara? It was really, really bad. Who thought that looked good? Maybe she figured no one would be watching, what with Brian Williams and Tom Brokaw teaming up over on the peacock. It’s going to take more than a Digg account to boost those ratings, Katie!
