As I type this, Ava is off at her first sleepover at her friend Aaron’s house. Leah’s taking it pretty well, especially after Ava dismissed her almost completely offhand when Leah dropped Ava off. The event seemed auspicious enough that I should take a picture of it, so I did.*
* I know. You’re saying, “What event, pray, is inauspicious enough that you not take a picture of it?” I hear ya.

I can't even look at this picture without tearing up. How did our baby turn into this big girl with a suitcase and a puppy? *sniffle*

Oh, I LOVE her sleepover bag!!! So adorable. I can't believe she's already of sleepover age . . .
