sure it gets better.

she'll become less concerned about herself and more concerned about him...

soon she will worry that her brother is bored in his crib so she'll start dropping toys over the rail to him, not all of which will be soft or light.

and he'll cry. so far, i think the crying is the constant.

These early weeks are really tough. It can only get better. It WILL get better. I also believe you've given Ava enough love and security these past 4 1/2 years for her to know you would never leave her at preschool
