I had to euthanize the vermin in quite brutal fashion, only to have my children, and the neighboring kids and their friends spot me 'in the act.' After a little lecture, I loaded the corpses (animal, not human) into a wheelbarrow and made my way to the nearest field, Pied Piper-style, with a dozen kids trailing behind, on our way to the burial. Now none of this has much of anything to do with interconnectedness of the universe, but your story brought my story to mind and that's good enough for me. Thanks for sharing.
