Moment of [video] cuteness

Out typical Sunday lately usually involves a trip — ordinarily on foot — to Lou Henri for breakfast. Their huevos diablo is really everything a man could want in a breakfast, particularly when ordered with a side of their insanely golden hash browns and a cup of joe. Ava orders the Mickey cakes, seen here:

  • I was thinking to myself, "Oh, hey, it'll look like Mickey Mouse" but...no, no, it doesn't. Really. Well, ok, kinda, but they'd have to be, like...chocolate pancakes, perhaps.

    It's a damn shame, the liberties people take with Disney trademarks.
  • Probably so...I think the earliest we've made it is about 9:30. We are slow out of the gate getting the troops wrangled...I don't know why, since we are usually up bright and EARLY.

  • We are Lou Henri breakfast people, too. I'm surprised we've never bumped into each other there. We'll have to branch out from the pancakes and eggs Jackson to try the huevos diablo...you are correct about the hash browns, my friend.

    We're almost always there on Sunday, and always before 9. Maybe it's a time difference?
