Gramary took Ava for the afternoon yesterday, as Ava’s school was having parent conferences (AGAIN). And, as usual, Gramary took some cute pics of our first born. To whit:
Earlier in the day, as we were preparing to go to work, I captured this shot of Ava, who was all dolled up in her fancy jacket. She seems to like anything with pockets in the front.
Leah and I are off to Chicago tomorrow morning for an overnight in the big city. Prolly our last hurrah before the next — and last — baby comes. I just hope she brings some sensible walking shoes. Dinner Saturday will be at Naha, which we’re eager to try. I’ll keep you posted.

No hot night out with the girl ever started with, “So there she was, laying on the bed, wearing her sensible walking shoes…”
