Moment of cuteness

January 22nd, 2009 · by map · 6 Comments

Ava became obsessed with Jell-O recently. I don’t even recall how it started, though I’m sure Leah will enlighten us. Must’ve been in a magazine, or something. Anyway, Leah finally relented to Ava’s constant whining and let her make some the other day. Ava wanted to cut the Jell-O into hearts, so we cut the Jell-O into hearts. Which looked a little something like this (everything goes better with sprinkles, in case ya didn’t know):

Or Cheerios, as the case may be.

Reminds me of the Jell-O from National Lampoon’s Christmas with the cat food sprinkles.

“Aunt Bethany…does your cat eat Jell-O?”

I don’t like her to eat it because of the dyes and artificial flavors, but she saw this in her National Geographic Kids magazine or something. It was supposed to be a fun V-Day project, so we did it early. Next time, I’m making plain gelatin with natural fruit juice if she wants more Jell-O. That stuff is scary!
