The reviews are pouring in, and they’re love songs. Looks like I’m going to have to wait for this one to come out on DVD, which is fine with me. The more I go to movies, the more I’m reminded why I don’t go to movies. Seems the odds are anymore that my experience will be ruined rather than enhanced by sitting in a big room with a bunch of strangers.

    Lincoln and I took the kids on Saturday. They seemed to enjoy it but I'm surprised Jake sat through the entire movie. For the first 45 minutes or so there is NO talking. Just watching a robot walk around.
  • Worth a shot. At least it's a film with some worthwhile lessons, even if those lessons might be above a preschooler's head. It would be interesting to see her reaction to how the film handles dialogue...or should I say, the lack thereof.

    Agreed. I wonder if Ava would like it. God knows she's capable of sitting through a feature-length film these days.
